Tale of Adventure, Where are they now? Maryann Talia Pau

Maryann Talia Pau's tale was the 2nd Tale of Adventure Craft Australia published. 

Fashioning the Mana
Artist Maryann Talia Pau reports on her first solo exhibition at the National Gallery of Victoria entitled Fashioning the Mana; coinciding with the L'Oreal Melbourne Fashion Festival Cultural Program. The exhibition is an installation of four of her body adornment pieces inspired by the tapa denim outfit H'nard K'nore G'nang G'near, 1995 - 1997 created by another Samoan artist, Rosanna Raymond. Maryann Talia Pau, a Melbourne artist who specialises in body adornment using weaving and traditional craft techniques from her native Samoa. Maryann makes one-off woven pieces, using a mixture of materials that range from found objects to traditional siapo (Samoan bark cloth).
